We are indeed grateful to share the good news of Jesus Christ with you through our website. The Rowan Missionary Baptist Association has a long and rich history of reaching souls for the Savior. For more than 141 years our focus has been on discipleship, leadership development and mission education for pastors and churches.

While our mission remains the same our vision focus reflects our response to changing times. The winds of change are felt across the world. From changes in the business landscape to challenges impacting families, people everywhere need a savior to look to and a loving church fellowship to share in their struggles.

The vision focus for the Rowan Association seeks to "Equip Pastors and Churches for Ministry in the 21 st Century." We provide mentoring and training for pastors helping them understand their congregational culture and the leadership skills needed to transition the church for effective ministry. We also serve as a resource for churches in the areas of calling a pastor, the role and function of the pastor in the church, understanding the role and mission of the church in the community, as well as managing conflict in the church.

It is our prayer that God will richly bless our sincere efforts to equip the body of Christ for effective ministry in these times of rapid change. We seek to be about our Heavenly Father's business to the end that God will be glorified, the cause of the kingdom served and the body of Christ abundantly blessed.
